Balenciaga
Cristóbal Balenciaga opened his first boutique in San Sebastián in 1918 and earned reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards. His designs were worn by the Spanish royal family, French press lauded him as a revolutionary and Christian Dior famously called him “the master of us all”.
